What are the Mac and Mac LCD anti-aliasing options in the Type menu used for? There may be times when you’re designing a project in Photoshop CC and you’d like the type in the design to mimic what it would look like if it appeared in a Web browser. Simply choose either Mac or Mac LCD (PC: Windows or Windows LCD) under Type>Anti-Alias. This will create semitransparent/ shaded pixels around the text that will give it a crisper look, mimicking what you’d see in the browser.
